The popularity of the Shelby Cobra is evergreen. That said, it is a bit surprising that more toy car producers have not done Cobra models in 1:64 scale. All but two of the models shown here are recent castings. The examples below represent the models in my collection. I am missing a version of the Daytona Coupe produced by Aurora in their Cigar Box line. It is great to finally have several racing versions and the sexy Daytona Coupe by Hot Wheels is one of their best.

The new Shelby Series 1 is an attempt to produce a modern Cobra. Shelby and Ford have also just done a new concept Cobra for the 2004 Detroit Auto Show.
