The following toy cars were purchased by Doug Breithaupt in the previous month. Most are new but some are older diecast acquired from other collectors. The prices paid are also shown. This addition to 'Tales of Toy Cars'. is intended to share recent finds with fellow collectors.  1969 Dodge Charger by Racing Champions $3.99 A great car, seldom done and nice to see.  1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS by Racing Champions $3.99 More classic muscle from the RC boys.  Racing Mini Cooper by Siku $4.95 I have the stock version but could not resist this classic  1999 VW Beetle by Siku $3.95 Not surprising, the best new Beetle yet in small-scale. Note the correct wheels and paint quality. This is Siku at their best.  Lamborghini Miura by Yat Ming $1.00 (used) A fun example in racing form (that never was). |
 1961 Jaguar 'E' type Roadster by Johnny Lightning $3.99 Forget the movie, get the car. What could be more British?  1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible by Johnny Lightning $3.99 A perfect example of why JL is such a success. The Bridges Cuda rocks!
